Article Writing for SEO

Feb 4th

Posted by Felix in Google SEO

Article writing is the number one method to building a good reputation with your customers. Moreover, addressing your customer issues with quality content ensures your site being top ranked in Search Engines. How do you begin with this process?

First, know who your customers are? What do your customers search for in search engines? What is the exact phrase or keyword they use to search? Make a list of all the exact phrases and keywords. This is the first step.

The next step is to plan the content for your article. When planning, create made-up characters depicting your target audience and try addressing their concerns like what they want, why they want and how they would speak about it. These virtual characters are called as personas in the writing trade.

The final step is the start writing the content that you have planned. The article should be concise, precise and to the point. Have clear headings for the article. Don’t bog down the article with keywords. If a keyword doesn’t fit, use it on the next article. Don’t try using all keywords in one article. Know that this is a process and not a one time exercise.

Don’t forget to check the article for grammer and spelling mistakes. Good English tells the search engine that your website is of repute. Now you should be having an article that addresses your customer in the way they would express themselves. That’s the key.

Learn .NET for better success

Jan 18th

Posted by Felix in .NET Training

Improve your chances of landing on a job by learning .NET right from your college days. Why wait until you complete a degree? I don’t see any reasons a student has to wait to complete his degree in order to step into an IT career. Early bird gets the worm. Same is true for landing on an IT job. The earlier you learn the technology the better you get at acquiring an IT job.

.NET has the largest share when it comes to IT vacancies. Why then do you think that Microsoft is hanging so tight onto .NET? See the logic?

if (Microsoft is selling .NET and winning) then

{

if (you know .NET)

{

// You have better chances of landing on a job and winning with Microsoft

// and remain on the winning team for a long time

}

else

{

// you miss those

}

}

Additionally, if you are serious enough in landing on an IT job, try getting your hands dirty by opting to work on real-time projects while still studying college. What more could an IT employer ask for? Let me know if these aren’t enough:

1. Create a DVD of your project work on multiple .NET technologies approved by industry recognized project managers (certified PMP from PMI, USA).

2. Acquire multiple Microsoft Certifications based on Microsoft Official Curriculum. WAFY’s .NET training grants you over 3 Microsoft Certifications when enrolling with us.

3. Acquire WAFY certifications for the training and project work.

Showcase all of the above to the potential employer. Wouldn’t he be impressed at your credentials? your hard work? your commitment? your subject expertise? your knowledge etc. You would definitely have a very good edge over the other job applicants.

Become a specialist in .NET. Me and Subha are specialists in .NET and that’s been our job since 2001. Meet us at our training center and we’d be glad to help and counsel you for a better future in IT.

Thanks,

Felix.J,  PMP

What is .NET Framework?

Jan 13th

Posted by Subha in .NET Simplified

.Net Framework is a Programming Infrastructure created by Microsoft for developing, managing, deploying and running .NET applications and services. It uses Visual Studio 2010 as the development tool to build applications.

.NET Framework is Device Independent and Platform Independent environment that works across environment barriers and this is the biggest advantage of using .NET Framework. The Framework can be run on Servers and Clients. The first .NET Framework was released in 2000 and the current .NET Framework 4 is the 6th release. The .NET versions 1.1, 2.0, 3.0 and 3.5 was included as a default installation package with windows versions Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2003 R2, Windows Vista/ Windows Server 2008 and with Windows 7/ Windows Server 2008 R2.

.NET Framework includes the following main components:

1. CLR – Common Language Runtime.

2. .NET Framework class library.

3. Development Frameworks.

Have a watch on this space. More to follow soon.

Make Google Love your Website

Jan 13th

Posted by Felix in Google SEO

The concepts to get your site ranked high in Google is all about relevance. Ask these questions to yourself before you embark on developing your website.

1. Who are your target customers?

2. What are your customers seeking in your website?

3. What would be the potential keywords used by your customers?

Once you have identified the answers to the above questions, then start creating a website that would suit the taste of your customers. Keep the landing page simple and quick to load. You don’t want to make your customers wait. Create home page content that is of high relevance to what your customers are seeking in your website.

Keywords:

Make sure the keywords are a part of your content and is of high relevance to the page the customer is visiting. Google’s first priority is to find content that is of high relevance to the keyword typed by the user. Therefore, make sure your website content is top notch and is of high relevance to the target keywords that would be entered by potential customers in search engines.

Back Links:

A method used by the search engines like Google, to validate or rank your website’s relevance to any particular keyword, is by looking at the number of other websites that link to your website. It is also important that you try create back links for your content with websites that are already ranked high in Google. Google believes that the content link by these websites are highly relevant. The higher the back links to such highly ranked sites, the better.

We suggest that you read a lot of books on this subject to succeed in your attempts at making your website rank high in Google. Our .NET Specialist training includes tips on how to succeed at SEO. With numerous websites being created every day, it’s become mandatory to know how to create websites that are highly SEO compliant. You can visit our training page for more information.
